About Ebz Dance

Ebz Dance began in 2010 after Club Dance came to a close. Students were looking for a place to dance and Ebony thought she would take on a few tap & jazz groups for a bit of fun. So, Rebecca Davy and a couple of her students, including Ebony, each took their own classes for the year and held a combined concert at the Mildura Settlers Club. Ebony had 19 students that year, but that soon grew to 45 students the following year, holding her end of year concert at the Sacred Heart Hall. Popularity increased, and the year after, the school had grown to 150 students with the end of year concert at the Mercy Theatre, this year holding two sell out performances! By 2013 the dance school grew again, now introducing hip hop, with three performances this year held at our brand new Mildura Arts Centre. Ebz Dance continued to grow getting bigger and better every year, reaching a size of over 300 students. Over the years, Ebz Dance has had many experiences and acheivements including, upgrading the studio, performances at local events and away, awards at the Eisteddfod, workshops with professional dancers and much more. Now, Ebz Dance offers classes in the styles tap, jazz, hip hop, classical, contemporary & even pointe. Ebony feels privileged to have grown with her students and to have worked with her amazing teachers over the years, and has enjoyed every moment of watching the school blossom into what it is today.
